Freshdesk, an Indian startup that offers a cloud-based customer support platform, has raised $5 million in financing led by Tiger Global Management with previous investor Accel Partners participating. Freshdesk, which competes with Zendesk, offers a simple, online help desk and support ticketing application that supports customers through email, phone, Facebook and Twitter.
