    The Human Resources Business Partner will play a key role in providing proactive HR partnership and support while ensuring alignment with Schwab?s corporate culture and business initiatives. Strong skills in diagnosing, advising, influencing and guiding all levels of the management team on the HR implications of business decisions and on all aspects of people-management and leadership. Drive programs and processes and that facilitate change and optimize the contributions and engagement level of employees.
    In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
    ? Diagnose, translate, and define current and future business needs into an overall integrated strategic HR plan for the function.
    ? As an HR Business Partner, change agent and member of the management staff drive strategic plans and objectives across the organization.
    ? Pro-actively lead change.
    ? Provide organizational development interventions and support including organization design, leadership transitions, enhance communication processes and reward/recognition programs.
    ? Assess organization capabilities; identify competency and talent gaps, ensure development of people resources; support talent assessment and succession planning.
    ? Initiate and maintain effective communications with management staff and employees; provide coaching and guidance on matters related to performance management, offer feedback on style and behaviors to improve employee productivity and engagement.
    ? Ensure and maintain the alignment of all corporate HR initiatives and programs, implement and deliver HR programs within the business.
    ? Deliver high quality, proactive HR services and processes that enable the attainment of strategic business goals and critical initiatives.
    In order to be successful in the role the Candidate must have:
    ? 7+ years in overall Human Resource Management operating as an HR Business Partner in a large to mid-size organization
    ? Strong influencing skills with people and teams with have experience operating successfully in a complex matrix organization with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Relationship building, and change management skills will be essential.
    ? Demonstrated ability to impact organizational effectiveness and excel on high performing teams capable of delivering strategic results will be another critical success factor for this position.
    ? Experience in organization design and creating workforce plans to inform decisions.
    ? Significant experience with workforce analytics plus the ability to use data and reporting to drive strategic decisions.
    ? A proven track record of developing organizational change initiatives that deliver real business results
    ? Demonstrated strong business knowledge and capability to assess HR implications of business priorities.
    ? Executive presence, influencing skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
    ? The ability to balance strategic and systems thinking with operational implementation and execution.
    ? Experience in Financial Services is helpful
    Education:
    BA/BS Degree (and/or its equivalent). MBA with emphasis in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
