KALISPELL, Mont. -- What may look like just another warehouse in the industrial part of Kalispell actually holds something unique inside.?We figure if it?s good enough for working professionals, then the civilians will certainly enjoy it as well,? said NEMO Vice President Clint Walker. Those ?professionals? Walker is talking about are law enforcement officers and military sharpshooters. Thanks to a new deal between two gun companies, those tools will come with a logo on it that says ?NEMO.??We can design it on a bar napkin, engineer it in house, manufacture it in house and sell it,? said Walker.NEMO Arms just acquired SI Defense, which is part of Sonju international. As part of the agreement, NEMO plans to build a 23,000 square foot facility in the Flathead for SI?s parent company to build aerospace equipment.?We are combing a team of professionals that can bring us to an entirely new level,? said SI Defense General Manager Josh Sonju. That may mean a lot of new jobs in the Flathead.?Our success isn?t going to be based on how many rifles we?re shipping out the door,? said Walker. ?Our success will be how many cars are parked in the parking lot. ?Folks driving those cars to work will be building gun parts not only for everyday customers, but also the military and law enforcement. That means local jobs with a global impact.
